SENCO Support Sessions Successfully Launched

Following on from the successful delivery of a fun-filled Christmas party, in school, for their Key Stage 1 children in December where the teachers recognised Jabberjacks potential, we are delighted to be able to announce the successful launch of a carefully planned package of SENCO Support Sessions at Primrose Hill Primary School in Salford, Greater Manchester.
Perfectly suited to those children in the Foundation Stage or Key Stage 1, but specifically tailored to both appeal and develop Statemented Children in Primary Schools, our package of SENCO Support Sessions for SEN and EHCP targeted intervention using EYFS learning activities develop children’s confidence, speech, language and motor skills through play, using the four themes and associated principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Both teachers and parents were delighted with how successful the package of SENCO Support Sessions have been over the initial 10 week period and of course, we’re hugely grateful to the school for the opportunity to run the sessions and gather some case studies that evidence the impact we were able to have over such a short period of time.
Here are some of the wonderful comments we received from the school:
“Child D. is actually starting to play as a direct result of taking part in Jabberjacks sessions. He has played the same thing every day BUT has played for the first time since arriving in our reception class.”
Reception Class Teachers and Teaching Assistants, Primrose Hill Primary School
“We were able to use examples and observations from the package of Jabberjacks’ School Sessions as part of the moderation process, to back up other evidence we had collected.”
AH and EYFS Lead, Primrose Hill Primary School
“The children are getting so much out of it.”
Sam, Reception Class Teacher, Primrose Hill Primary School
And from a parent:
“Child C. loves Jabberjacks and always asks why it’s only on a Thursday, why not every day!”
