Leicestershire Children's Entertainment Franchise Celebrate Best Website Achievement


Plucky Leicestershire firm punches above its weight at national awards

JABBERJACKS Franchising Ltd is already an expert in capturing the imaginations of young children. Now it is captivating franchise industry judges after reaching the final of the Franchise Marketing Awards 2012 (FMA).

The UK Franchising company, based in Leicestershire providing children's party entertainment and activity classes, gave industry heavyweights a run for their money after being shortlisted for the Best Website award for www.jabberjacks.co.uk/franchising

Jabberjacks went head-to-head on March 16 against eight finalists, including brand giants McDonald's, Molly Maid and HiQ, at London's Olympia. The Franchise Marketing Awards (FMA) recognise the industry's most innovative and effective marketing campaigns.

Although Jabberjacks lost out on winning the gong, being shortlisted alongside such established brands illustrates the giant strides made by the small firm.

Jabberjacks now boasts nine franchises throughout the country, which deliver traditional children's birthday party entertainment and baby & toddler pre-school classes using a unique blend of music, drama and dance alongside a cast of colourful puppets which are guaranteed to lift the lid on children's imaginations.

Best Website Finalist highlights benefits of franchising
Jabberjacks earned a place in the final shortlist after judges praised the company's dual purpose website which was developed as a one-stop-shop for customers and prospective franchisees.

It covers everything visitors need to know about becoming a Jabberjacks Franchisee, delivering toddler classes and party entertainment to children up to the age of seven, as well as making it inviting to customers looking to book a birthday party or pre-school activity class.

Jabberjacks Director Jackie Johnstone said: "We were thrilled to be shortlisted for such a prestigious national award. Even though we didn't win it shows the strides we are making following the launch of our website last year."

Developed by the company's marketing team in association with Mulberry Square Ltd, there aim was to make sure it was a user-friendly site which boasts an easy-to-use postcode search facility to find the nearest Jabberjacks Franchise. They were also keen to appeal to customers of all ages introducing a colourful design with great illustrations which has now been reflected across all their branding.

Jackie added: "The results we have seen from our new website and internet presence speak for themselves with a huge surge in the number of enquiries we receive every day.

Interactive prospectus provides working mums with franchise information
Two new features were the franchising site which has an interactive prospectus and highlights the benefits of becoming the next Jabberjacks franchisee and the secure site for the franchising team. This has all sorts of information on to help them run their business, including marketing strategies and customer profiling, giving them more time to concentrate on the excellent service customers have come to expect.

Jabberjacks is co-owned by Leicestershire mums Jackie Johnstone and Verity Graham who, like their franchisees, juggle busy family life with work and running their growing business.
