Jabberjacks High Peaks & Congleton is Launched for 2015

2015 is going to be an exciting year for a local mum of two, Joanne Smyth as she launches her Children’s Party and Toddler Activity Class business this January. Along with Joanne comes a unique cast of colourful characters, wacky games and magical melodies that are set to enchant children across the region.

Jabberjacks is a company which specialises in delivering children’s parties and pre-school activity classes using a special blend of puppetry, music and traditional games. Already established as a favourite for party boys and girls across neighbouring territories of South Derbyshire and Cheshire, the company is delighted to welcome their latest franchisee to the team.

Joanne, from Buxton, Derbyshire launches Jabberjacks in High Peaks and Congleton in January and is all set to entertain and educate children aged from as young as 9 months to seven years old.

Joanne said: “I’m very excited to announce the launch of my business. I have really enjoyed my time working in Nurseries, but this Jabberjacks franchise opportunity has allowed me to continue to work with children and its underlying educational focus using really appealed to me as an Early Years Practitioner”  


“I first saw Jabberjacks classes in action when I was a Nursery Manager and was really impressed, so when I moved to North Derbyshire, I knew I had to grasp the business opportunity” explains Joanne, “I am delighted to be able to offer parents in my area access to a special and quite amazing party and class service, which fuels children’s imagination whilst maintaining their interest.”

For parents who want to give their kids a party to remember or help their little ones learn and develop in a fun and safe environment, look no further than Jabberjacks.

There are two types of Jabberjacks party which can be hosted at home, in a local venue or at the child’s nursery:

  • Playmates – (for children aged two to four years old) amazes children as they discover
    Jo Jo the marionette and friends, along with bubbles, teddies and fun activities, all hidden in a special party treasure box.
  • Juniors – (for children aged five to seven years old) shows youngsters how to bust some crazy moves to the latest hits, play wacky games and fill their own party bags with some funky prizes.

Jabberjacks also offer activity classes for toddlers and pre-school children, accompanied by their parents or carers. Joanne is hoping to start offering these sessions, based on the Early Years Foundation Stage in the New Year. In the meantime she is already delivering these special birthday parties to children across the High Peaks and surrounding areas.
