Hannah Yates – South Nottinghamshire Franchisee

Former Corporate Operations Director, Hannah took on our South Nottinghamshire Jabberjacks franchise territory in 2013, after spotting one of our Discovery Day flyers in Cafe Nero, West Bridgford, whilst meeting a friend for coffee and has never looked back.
During her maternity leave, Hannah volunteered at a local Primary School with the intention of converting her degree to become a teacher before joining the Jabberjacks family, having spent most of her career working in operations for large corporate businesses.
Upon taking on her children’s party franchise, Hannah, who is married and lives in Gamston, near West Bridgford, with her husband and children, Imogen and Luca, had many all round business skills including marketing. Although marketing knowledge and experience are not essential when taking on a Jabberjacks franchise, as many marketing resources, materials and support are included within the Franchise Licence, previous experience can be useful.
What Hannah found to be really helpful in the early days was learning all about the Jabberjacks parties and activity classes and how they link to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), along with the flexibility of the training consisting of combination of hands on experience at Head Office, at live events and also late night meetings after her young children had gone to bed.
